Meet Our Staff
Ms. Emily Squadroni
Co-Owner, Director of Administration
Sending you the warmest of welcomes! My name is Emily Squadroni. I am the Co-director here at Anchored Roots Montessori. While receiving my Bachelors’ Degree, I learned of Montessori education and just knew I would spend the rest of my life learning as much as I could about every aspect. I have my Montessori Infant/Toddler certificate through North American Montessori Center and have started my Master’s Degree in Business Administration. My two children mean the world to me. They are two outgoing and spunky individuals with lots of curiosity. My husband and I love adventures and education. I couldn’t be more excited and proud of what this school has become.
Ms. Bridgette Kruitbosch
Co-Owner, Director of Academics
Lead - Elementary Teacher
Hello, I am Bridgette Kruitbosch. I am the Elementary teacher and Co-director at Anchored Roots Montessori. I have two amazing sons that have pulled me into this amazing Montessori universe and I would not have it any other way. I like to spend most of my time at home with them and my husband along with doing any crafts I can get my hands on. This will be my third year lead teaching in an elementary class and my seventh year working in a Montessori environment. I am finishing my Montessori Elementary MACTE certificate through Center for Guided Montessori Studies. I am also a certified Positive Discipline parent educator. I am very excited to share my passion for the Montessori philosophy and to be a part of so many students and families.
Ms. McKenna Ward
Early Childhood - Lead Teacher
Hello! My name is McKenna Ward. I am very excited to start this new journey with Anchored Roots Montessori. I found out about Montessori learning about three years ago and starting assisting two years ago for the toddler classroom. I have loved it ever since. I am thrilled to be leading the Early Childhood classroom and receiving my certification through Center for Guided Montessori Studies. Some fun facts about me is that I have been dancing my whole life. It is one of my top favorite things to do along with teaching it! I love the outdoors, camping and traveling. Another passion would be learning about different places and their cultures.
Ms. Marilyn Mueller
Toddler - Lead Teacher
I grew up in the Layton foothills, loving the mountains, hiking, camping, and generally being outdoors. I moved to Ogden to attend Weber State University, where I studied Early Childhood Development. My husband and I love this town, and all it has to offer. My experience with Montessori began as a teacher's assistant in a Montessori toddler classroom. I was mentored by a very talented educator with several years of experience. Halfway through the year, I had an opportunity to become the lead teacher. Needless to say, it was a trial by fire, and I absolutely fell in love with it. I have since graduated from North American Montessori Center’s Infant & Toddler program. Currently, I am earning a second accreditation through Westminster College in Salt Lake City. I love that Montessori education allows kids to be free and independent, explore, be hands-on, and experience daily self-discovery. It’s a joy to lead them in this caring and peaceful environment. I look forward to sharing their growth with you throughout the year.
Ms. Taysha Kruitbosch
Infant - Lead Teacher
Taysha Rae Kruitbosch has lived in Roy, Utah all her life. She first went to school for her CNA and LXMO credentials. She is currently at Westminster College earning her American Montessori Society Infant/Toddler teaching credentials. She was a nanny to two wonderful children for six years before taking a position with us. Her love for Montessori has only grown since she was introduced to it by a family member. When she is not at work, you can find her with her head in a new book or story she wants to write, enjoying nature, partaking in family game night, or re-watching Charlie Chaplin movies.
Ms. Jill Crezee
Early Childhood - Assistant Teacher
My name is Jill Crezee. I have moved around quite a bit, but I consider Utah to be my home. I was a sushi chef for sixteen years. There were many aspects of the job that I really enjoyed (the art, the food, the people I met.) However, I wanted to do something more meaningful and with less of an effect on the environment. I heard about Montessori through a family member. It sounded exactly like the change I was looking for. I love the concept and its positivity with the environment to change the world.
Ms. Kayla Sherman
Toddler - Assistant Teacher
I have been married for six years and just had our first baby boy in May. I love to run, bike, and craft. I have worked at a Montessori school for two years; mostly with infants and toddlers. I have my Montessori Fundamentals certificate, love working with children, and watching them grow.
Ms. Katy Sterrett
Director of Parent Support & Fundraising
I am Katy Sterrett. My two kids have been attending Montessori schools for the past seven years. It has been such an incredible experience for our family. I feel passionate about the Montessori philosophy and structure. I am grateful for the opportunity to be involved with teachers and parents who are so devoted to our children’s development and well being. I love Ogden and feel so proud to see this school becoming a part of our community.
Ms. Kathy Gambles
What a gift to read stories to smiling faces I'm Kathy Gambles, and that's what I get to do with the wonderful students at Anchored Roots. It really is a bonus in my life to walk through the school doors and feel the nurturing energy that is surrounding Anchored Roots students all day every day. Books play a significant role in my life, and I love sharing them with others. I have spent many years as a certified teacher librarian in public schools. My learning didn't stop after receiving my master's degree. I am a lifetime learner and enjoy sharing insights. It is a bonus to share with Montessori kids because they already are developing a learner's curiosity.
Ms. Kristi Nylander
My name is Kristi Nylander. I have been lucky to be a part of the Montessori experience for six years now. My two children have grown to love learning through those years. I am so excited to join the Anchored Roots family and look forward to watching them grow and develop.
